Dr Navdeep Singh

Dr Navdeep Singh founded My Family Dental Qld in 2013, opening the first clinic in Ingham. After many years working as a dentist across regional Queensland, he set out to bring more, and better-quality, dental services to rural and regional communities: growing the practice to six clinics across North Queensland. He provides advice and mentorship to the wider dental team.

A registered Specialist Periodontist with over 16 years of dental experience. His clinical interests include gum-disease treatment, dental implants, bone grafting, soft-tissue surgery and full-arch implant rehabilitation. He emphasises evidence-based care, minimally invasive techniques and patient education, serving patients throughout North Queensland.

With more than 19 years of dental experience, Dr Lily has built long-standing relationships with families in the Emerald community over her 6+ years there. She has a professional interest in dental implants, with ongoing advanced training in this area. Outside dentistry she enjoys time with her son, gardening and neighbourhood walks.

Graduated from the University of Queensland and has practised general dentistry for 51 years. He relocated to Bowen in late 1973, following two-and-a-half years as a government dentist in Collinsville, and has built long-term relationships with his patients. Outside dentistry his interests include basketball, tennis, reading and stamp collecting.

Having grown up in Townsville, Dr Aleena completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University. She has clinical experience in preventive, restorative, endodontic, surgical, emergency and paediatric dentistry, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. She takes the time to listen, explain each step clearly and tailor treatment plans to each person’s goals, and is known for a gentle, calm and approachable manner. Outside dentistry she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Outside the clinic she loves spending weekends at the swimming pool or relaxing on the Bowen beaches.

Born and raised in India, Dr Sirisha earned her Bachelor of Dental Science and practised before immigrating to Australia in 2014. She passed the ADC exam in 2017 and worked as a dentist in regional Victoria before relocating to Townsville. She enjoys family time, cooking Indian cuisine and exploring Australia by caravan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wherever possible, yes, and we think it matters. Continuity means your dentist knows your history, your teeth and how you like things explained, which makes appointments faster and less stressful. If your usual dentist is away and you need to be seen urgently, another member of the team can see you with full access to your records.
Yes. Every dentist at My Family Dental holds current registration with the Dental Board of Australia through AHPRA. Registration status is public, so you can look up any practitioner on the AHPRA register yourself at any time.
Yes. Dr Sudeep Singh is a registered Specialist Periodontist, meaning he has completed additional specialist training in the treatment of gum disease and in dental implants and bone grafting. He sees patients at the Kirwan and Bohle Plains clinics. You can read more on his profile.
Yes, just say so when you book. Waiting for a specific dentist can mean a slightly longer wait for a routine appointment, and reception will tell you what is available. For urgent problems we would generally rather see you sooner with whoever is free.
