Replacing missing teeth, with a Specialist Periodontist on the team
From a single dental implant to a full-arch All-on-4, tooth replacement at My Family Dental is planned with Dr Sudeep Singh, our Specialist Periodontist. With a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology and a Doctorate in Periodontics, he consults at our Kirwan and Bohle Plains clinics, so implant and full-arch cases are cared for in-house, close to home.

Why My Family Dental
We are locals, just like you
After working as a dentist across regional Queensland for many years, Dr Navdeep Singh saw the growing need for more dental services in our regional and rural communities. In 2013 he opened My Family Dental with a single practice in the cane-farming community of Ingham, and with the encouragement of those communities, the group now operates six clinics across North Queensland.
Our teams are locals who live in and support their communities. Every staff member is family, and our focus is on building long-term relationships with our patients: from baby’s first tooth check and custom sports mouthguards to straightening, whitening and cosmetic treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions
We have six clinics across North and Central Queensland: Ingham, Innisfail, Bohle Plains and Kirwan (both in Townsville), Bowen and Emerald. Addresses, phone numbers and opening hours for each are on our clinics page. You are welcome at any of them, and your records move with you if you relocate between towns.
Yes, all six clinics welcome new patients, including families new to the area. If you have been seen at another practice, we can request your records and x-rays so nothing is repeated unnecessarily. Just let us know when you book.
A check-up and clean is $330, covering the examination and a scale and clean. X-rays, fluoride and a head and neck check are quoted separately where they are needed. If treatment is recommended you get a written quote first, and we claim health fund rebates on the spot through HICAPS.
We bulk bill the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Eligible children aged 0 to 17 whose family receives a qualifying payment such as Family Tax Benefit Part A can access up to $1,158 of basic dental care across two calendar years, and the cap is indexed each January. We check eligibility at the front desk.
Call your nearest clinic first, as we keep time aside for urgent problems. For a knocked-out adult tooth, hold it by the crown rather than the root, do not scrub it, keep it in milk or saliva and get to us immediately, since that is measured in minutes. Yes. We offer interest-free payment plans and accept Afterpay, ZipPay and humm, alongside HICAPS claiming for all major health funds. The payment options page sets out what is available so cost does not stand between you and treatment.
