Invisalign and other clear aligners straighten teeth with a planned series of clear, removable trays instead of fixed brackets and wires. They are available at our Emerald clinic. Emerald is our furthest clinic from the coast, and Invisalign treatment is done here rather than referred away.
How It Runs at Emerald
We start with an examination and a scan on our Medit i700 intra-oral scanner, then plan the movement before any aligners are ordered. You wear each set for about two weeks, roughly 22 hours a day, taking them out to eat, to drink anything other than water, and to clean your teeth.
You change trays at home. Reviews are spaced out rather than fortnightly, which is the practical reason aligners suit people here better than fixed braces: there are fewer trips, and the ones you make are short.

What to Expect
Mild to moderate crowding, spacing and alignment issues are what aligners handle well. Expect a slight lisp for the first two or three weeks while your tongue adjusts, and some tightness for a day after each new set. Both settle.
The result depends far more on wearing them consistently than on which system is used. If your case is complex enough that aligners are the wrong tool, we will say so rather than sell you a course that will not work.
Cost
The fee is set by how many aligners your case needs, so a short case genuinely costs less than a long one rather than everyone paying one blended price. We confirm the figure in writing once your teeth are scanned and the plan is built.
